Sateen is a material that has been popular since the early 1900s. It is smooth to the touch and the specific sateen weave gives a silky glossy finish on one side and a flat, matte finish on the reverse. Made with high thread count cotton, sateen is a pretty durable material. The smoothness and high lustre of this fabric gives it a luxurious quality.
